The past collides with the future at the Calistoga Half Mile National on July 31th, 2010. Some of the best young motorcycle riders will tackle the Calistoga Speedway at the Napa County Fairgrounds. But first, the heroes of the sport will have their time in the spotlight during a legends reunion celebration dinner. Dick Mann, Carroll Resweber, Joe
Leonard and Everett Brashear will be the
guests of honor during the Motion Pro
Grand Marshall’s dinner. Cocktail hour
will begin at 5:30pm and the dinner will
begin promptly at 6 p.m. at Brannan’s
Grill in Calistoga, CA.

In Attendance: • Joe Leonard, Hall of Famer won the inaugural AMA Grand National Series championship in 1954 and went on to win titles in 1956 and 1957. He dominated the local scene on the way to his 1957 championship, including a victory at the historic Vallejo Speedway. • Carroll Resweber, inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 1998, won four consecutive Grand National championships from 1958-61. • Dick Mann, a member of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, was a two-time AMA Grand National Champion. He won his first national event at Peoria, Ill., in 1959. • Everett Brashear, a 1998 AMA Motorcycle
Hall of Fame inductee, won 15 AMA Grand
National events between 1952-1960. His
final AMA National victory came in 1960 at
the Sacramento Mile.
